The General Manager will oversee daily operations, staff management, customer satisfaction, and financial performance across construction, maintenance, repair and retail divisions. This role requires a dynamic, high energy leader with deep industry expertise in home services and strong business acumen.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operations Management: Manage day-to-day operations, scheduling, and ensure quality across pool service and construction projects.
  • Financial Oversight: Oversee budgeting, track expenses, and analyze financial performance to ensure profitability.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and evaluate staff, promoting a positive and efficient work environment.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high satisfaction, maintain client relationships, and address service issues promptly.
  • Sales & Growth: Support sales strategies, promote services, and assist with marketing efforts. Priority will be on growing the service division of the business.
  • Strategic Planning: Identify growth opportunities, optimize operations, and implement scalable systems.
  • Acquisitions: support as needed on diligence and integration for future acquisitions

Qualifications

  • Experience: 8+ years in management within pool services, construction, or a related field.
  • Skills: Leadership, operational efficiency, financial management, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Comfortable leveraging technology during the normal course of business (Google Suite, Excel, CRM technology) etc.
  • Driven, customer-centric leader, attracted to a fast moving business environment

Working Conditions

  • Office-based with regular site visits
  • Full-time, expectation is that GM arrives before service crew and leaves only once all crews are in and day is done
