FOG Wellness is a franchisee of Medi-Weightloss with full territorial rights to the Portland metro area. We are forecast to open our first clinic by June of 2025, opening a total of five clinics within three years, and another five in the years to follow as we expand our geography. The company will become the premium weight loss operator in the region, leveraging the Medi-Weightloss platform to its fullest.

The Role
The company founder is looking for a partner in the region to help build and oversee the clinics. The Director of Operations will be responsible for the daily operations at each of the clinics, expanding oversight as the number of clinics grows. This individual will set the tone for operational excellence, helping ensure a consistent patient experience every day. The individual will also aid in business development, helping build a physician referral network in the region. The role offers the future potential to lead the enterprise in its entirety.

Compensation
Competitive salary – range of $100,000-$130,000 depending on experience - and benefits package commensurate with experience. Equity compensation will be linked to key growth metrics.
Responsibilities
As a pivotal member of the team, you will play a key role in the success of our clinics by overseeing various aspects of the operations.
Note that the role will start in our first clinic and evolve to overseeing several clinics as we scale.
Your initial responsibilities will encompass:
- Inspirational Influence: Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by leading and supporting a dedicated team of administrative and clinical staff.
- Exceptional Patient Care: Ensure patients receive outstanding care and service throughout their transformative journey with Medi-Weightloss.
- Efficient Office Operations: Oversee daily office activities, including appointment scheduling, patient registration, and medical record management.
- Compliance Excellence: Ensure the clinic adheres to healthcare regulations, maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
- Financial Management: Manage billing, accounts receivable, and other financial aspects of the clinic.
- Inventory Control: Monitor and manage clinic supplies and equipment efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality assurance measures to uphold the highest standards of patient care.
- Insightful Reporting: Generate reports and analyze data to track clinic performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Staff Training: Provide training and support to enhance the skills and knowledge of your team.
- Patient Engagement: Develop strategies to enhance patient engagement and satisfaction.
- Lead Conversion: Proactively engage with potential patients to convert leads into appointments, ensuring a seamless journey from inquiry to consultation.
- Lead Generation: Develop relationships with local physicians to drive leads.
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Patient-Centric Focus: A commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant Experience: Previous experience in a medical office management role (preferred).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements a plus.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Tech Proficiency: Proficiency in office software and EMR systems.
