Entrepreneurial GM / Operating Partner for Landscaping & Outdoor Living Company - Texas  

ABOUT THE BUSINESS:

Complete Exterior Solutions (CES) is a growing landscaping and outdoor living company headquartered in Flower Mound, TX, with operations across the DFW metroplex and a sister company in Austin (Structure Landscapes). We specialize in high-quality outdoor living and landscape construction, design, and commercial and residential maintenance. Acquired in 2023 and 2024, we're looking to triple our business in the coming years—both organically and inorganically.

THE ROLE:

We're looking for a General Manager/CEO who is as entrepreneurial as they are operationally sharp. You’ll be the day-to-day leader and face of our Dallas business, overseeing all departments—sales, operations, logistics, and customer success. While you’ll report to the two owners (based in Austin and Mexico City), you will effectively operate as the CEO of the business, responsible for growing revenue, building team culture, and holding everyone accountable for excellence.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who:

  • Can manage and lead both office staff and field crews (many Spanish-speaking)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leadership & Operations
  • Own day-to-day operations with the support of our Operations Manager and field supervisors
  • Oversee scheduling, logistics, quality control, and client satisfaction
  • Lead a team of 20+ including field supervisors, office staff, and two sales reps
  • Drive accountability, structure, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure profitability through smart job costing, labor management, and vendor control
  • Full P&L accountability Sales & Business Development
  • Lead the sales team, including coaching, pipeline management, and goal setting
  • Personally drive new business opportunities (custom home builders, HOAs, GCs, etc.)
  • Oversee design of outdoor living projects and recurring commercial maintenance contracts
  • Expand into new DFW markets (Plano, Southlake, North Dallas, etc.)
  • Strategically partner with the Austin team to leverage regional capabilities and expertise  

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven leadership in a high-growth, operationally complex environment
  • Strong sales skills and business development experience (any industry)
  • Not afraid to network HARD and pursue revenue opportunities  
  • Excellent people management and communication skills—especially with bilingual teams
  • Spanish fluency strongly preferred
  • Grit, resourcefulness, and the ability to make hard decisions
  • Doesn’t need landscaping experience—just strong business instincts and the will to learn fast.  
  • General Construction experience preferred but not required (It’s not rocket science)

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Base Salary - $110k-$140k depending on experience
  • Gross Profit based bonus structure & Equity Grant of 10%+  ownership (Significant upside at potential exit)
